Thomas Jefferson
was born at Shadwell in what is now Albemarle County, Va., on Apr. 13, 1743.
He died on July 4, 1826, the
50th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
This man was
the 3rd president of the United States and in 1779, he was elected governer of Virginia.
Thomas Jefferson wrote the Decleration of Independance
which is still used in the modern society.
Not only did he attend the
College of William and Mary in Williamsburg to be a lawyer, but is elected into the house of Burgesses 7 years after he graduated.
